Director Bryan Taylor is a graduate of William Jewell College with a Music Education degree and completed his Master's in Choral Conducting at at the UMKC Conservatory of Music. He has sung with the Kansas City Choral since 1992 and can be heard on each of their recordings. In 1992 he successfully auditioned for the Robert Shaw Chorale Workshop held at Carnegie Hall and has returned each year since. Having taught choral music at Kearney High School for 15 years he is currently the Director of Music at Liberty United Methodist Church. In addition he has served as Music and Worship Repertoire & Standards Chair for the Missouri Choral Directors Association and in 2007 assumed that same position for Southwest DIvision of the American Choral Directors Association |
